About Primo Italia
For generations our families have celebrated the tastes of life around a dinner table, enjoying our tradition of homemade pastas, sauces, vino, e dolci -- and we want to invite you to participate in that culinary heritage. Italian tradition is relived as we reminisce about the past and create new memories, and every meal brings family and friends closer together with lively conversation and laughs. Our chef, Michelangelo Aliaga, is passionate about Italian cooking and its deep history. He has created a rich, abundant menu using local purveyors and fine ingredients in making homemade pastas, wood-fired pizzas, and Mediterranean fish dishes.
At Primo Italia, we want to share our Southern Italian roots with you.

Had a wonderful meal at Primo Italia and was impressed from start to finish. I ordered pasta along with appetizers, and everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients. The atmosphere felt cozy and welcoming, making it a great spot for date night or a relaxed dinner out. Don't forget to order dessert!

Went for valentines day. Service was great food was good but a bit pricey. They included the tip didn't appreciate that let me as a customer decide the tip. I would have just gone to The Arthur J. A bit gimmicky with that Ravioli shaped as hearts also it was thick.

This establishment truly exceeded my expectations in every way. The ambiance was elegant and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. The service was impeccableβattentive, professional, and genuinely accommodating. The food was outstanding, prepared with exceptional care and attention to detail, making each dish a delight for the senses. Additionally, the live pianist added a charming touch, further enhancing the atmosphere and elevating the entire experience. Overall, I couldnβt have asked for a more perfect outing. It was an unforgettable experience, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a top-tier dining experience.

We initially avoided Prime Italia when it first opened a few years ago due to a previous disappointing experience with another Italian restaurant. However, we decided to have our wine group dinner there the day after Christmas since they could accommodate our large group of nine with a reservation. The restaurant is spacious yet retains a welcoming and charming ambiance. Despite being very busy, our waiter ensured our party was well taken care of. The ladies shared the Insalata Caprese, Capricciosa pizza, and Branzino con Carciofi. The sea bass was tender and absolutely delicious. The guys ordered the Tagliatelle alla Bolognese, Pappardelle, Branzino, Primo Lasagne, and Pollo alla Parmigianaβall of which they thoroughly enjoyed. We had a wonderful evening and are excited to return for another meal!

Solid Italian Resturant in South Bay. Tried the Cesar salad, octopus and beef carpaccio for appetitser- have to vote the octopus as the best tender but chewy and grilled to perfection. The carpaccio is good but didnβt standout. The ceasar salad was bit disappointing. We also tried the homemade strozzapreti and tagliolini - both were delicious and taste authentic. Pasta was not overcooked and had a good chewy texture to it. Truffle pizza also outstanding. Portion size small for the price but it is a solid place to check out
